Demo restaurant is an intimate 45-seat diner that has earned a Michelin Star for serving homemade French cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment. The restaurant’s name denotes highlighting of one’s talents – which particularly pertains to its two talented chef-owners Tommi  (expert on new ideas and warm kitchen) and Teemu (expert on desserts  and cold kitchen).
For light starters, try their homemade cheese with truffle and order pan fried cod and mussel rregola in lemongrass sauce for the main course. Seafood entrees go well with a glass of white wine, ending with velvety-smooth mocha soufflé with milk ice cream for dessert.
Demo Restaurant opens Tuesdays to Saturday from 4pm in the afternoon ‘til 11pm in the evening. Chef’s Menu served only on Saturdays.

Timbaali restaurant in the picturesque town of Porvoo, just 50 km from Helsinki, is a haven for escargot enthusiasts and adventurous eaters. The famous eatery has been around for more than 15 years.

The interiors are classical, very relaxing, and they even have a heated terrace and lovely courtyard ideal for blini lazy luncheons on warm days.

The menu of course features various snail dishes but their escargots aren’t the only reasons to visit. They have the famous Captain’s Buffet during summertime where there are plenty of fish offerings.

The Timbaali beef tratare and deep fried sweetbreads with miso-mayonnaise are also must try dishes. Their drink list comprised of many new world and European wines is sure to impress diners.

Timbaali restaurant is open daily from noon until 11pm (until 6pm only on Sundays).
