Botero

Style: Upscale Steakhouse in Las Vegas

BoteroIf you are looking for a splurge, that perfect night out, the place to pop the question? Botero is it! The painted artwork and sculptures of Fernando Botero, a Colombian artist, is the inspiration for this gorgeous restaurant.

With Chef Mark LoRusso at the helm, Bottero is a 2011 AAA Four Diamond Award recipient. The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in, is the elegant, yet modern atmosphere. The massive sculpture in the center of the main dinning room is beautiful, surrounded my candles, it really sets the tone for the whole experience.

As beautiful as the place is, the food is the real star attraction, and believe me that is saying something. I’d recommend starting out with the Ahi Tuna Tartare, with mango, avocado, and just a hint of ginger, it’s like a mouthful of heaven! For the steak fan, you can’t go wrong with Filet. Just because this is a steakhouse, don’t discount their seafood offerings. Believe me when I tell you that the Rosemary Grilled Prawns are the best I’ve ever had.

Open daily at 5:30pm, reservations are pretty much a must.
