The Palais Jad Mahal in the heart of Marrakesh, just next to the Sofitel Hotel, is a very sophisticated and sensual Moroccan restaurant that has an amazing ambiance. Large colourful dining areas are warmly lit as wonderful perfumed scents fill the air. Both the menu and the decoration have touches of Thai and Indian influences as well. Live belly dancing performance and fire eaters entertain diners at the restaurant. There is also a cool lounge bar with live music entertainment and a vibrant club for dancing the night away where local and foreign celebrities are often spotted (French celebs Jean Reno and Alain Delon are patrons).

The menu offers world cuisine (but mostly Moroccan, Indian and Thai) with dishes like Curry rouge aux gambas, chicken ravioli in ginger and soy sauce, and citron risotto with shrimp, artichokes and parmesan. The grilled fish and meat offerings are also crowd favourites.

Palais Jad Mahal is open daily from 7 pm until 2 am and We love that the upstairs Silver nightclub is open until dawn.
