Oaxen Krog & Slip

Oaxen Krog and Slip are twin eateries that both have a nautical theme. One is a Michelin Star rated fine dining restaurant and the other is a ship yard style bistro.  Swedish Restaurateurs Agneta Green and Magnus Ek paid great attention to detail in both food substance and the two restaurant’s décor.
The aptly themed eateries on Djurgarden is set in an old shipyard, inside a crenelated medal building.  Designer and Architect Agneta Pettersson and Mats Fahlander used repurposed materials from the nearby private dock to create a retro chic meets industrial décor. The interiors are trendy and stylish, there’s even an actual ship hanging on the ceiling of the bistro.
Opt for 6- or 10-tasting course at the finding restaurant or choose hearty bistro fare. Expect dishes like ginger-baked pork belly, smoked langoustine, aged Oaxen ham and beef, and reindeer grilled on hot stone.
Oaxen Krog and Slip are open Tue – Sat from 6pm onwards (latest orders at 10pm). Calling ahead for reservations at least a day in advance is advised.
Good to know: Serves dinner only; except open for brunch on Saturday.
