Amhuinnsuidhe Castle review by Nicole Allmann
The Amhuinnsuidhe Castle offers a unique and unforgettable Scottish holiday experience set in a 19th Century Victorian castle by the banks of Loch Leosavay. It is a haven for sport fishing enthusiasts and nature lovers who will surely enjoy the hillside gardens, sea cliffs, steep hills, lochs and glens, the variety of birds that fly around, the salmon jumping from the sea pool, deer stalking, and the private beach.

There are 12 individually designed gorgeous rooms that have lavish baths and windows that open up to amazing scenery of the 55,000 acre hunting estate’s astonishing landscape. Common areas like the drawing room, grand hall, billiard room, library, and lounge with TV are all very beautifully decorated and furnished with antiques. Breakfasts and dinners are served communal style on a large banquet table (it’s like a fancy dinner scene out of Downton Abbey!) in the elegant dining room that has large windows so guests can enjoy the stunning waterfront views with their excellent meals.
