Babbo London London

Babbo London - review by Nicole Allmann

Style: Old School Business Italian Fine Dining

Address: 39 Albemarle Street , London W1S 4JQ , United Kingdom
Area: Mayfair

Phone: +44 203 205 1099

Price: £22/26 2/3 course lunch; 11-16 starters; 20-40 main course

Babbo is an elegant Italian fine dining eatery in London’s classy Mayfair area. The stylish interiors are combined with warmth of traditional charm having crystal chandeliers, exposed brickwork, and many old framed pictures that tells the story of the family owned restaurant. There is a 12-seater private dining area ideal for intimate gatherings or business meals.

The menu features traditional Italian fare from various regions, home made pasta, and fresh hand made breads. Dishes like Milanese style ossobuco, salt crusted sea bass, and lasagna di chianina (more than 100 year old family secret recipe) are just some of the must try menu offerings. An impressive selection of vintage wines by the wooden staircase, cocktails, liqueurs, cocktails and beer (Peroni, Italian of course) make up the extensive drink list.

Enjoy authentic Italian fare at Babbo from Mon-Sat noon until 3pm for lunch and from Mon-Sun 6 – 10:30 pm for dinner.
