Balzar Restaurant in the Latin Quarter is a classic Parisienne brasserie that has been a bustling eatery since it opened in1998 but its roots go as far back as 1886 when it used to be a famous hangout spot for academics and braniac scientists. Today, Balzar still offers the classical snacks and dishes that tickled thinkers’ and philosophers’ fancies. They have also added contemporary delights to the menu served from 8 am until midnight daily. Sole meunière, breaded pig’s feet, and pan fried veal liver are just some of the recommended traditional dishes.
The ambiance at Balzar is also reminiscent of the past, having moleskin seats, white and green tiles, mirrored walls, and many colourful artworks on display. For a true taste and feel of Paris, visit Balzar!
