Many Buddakan Restaurant regulars say that entering the premises of the famed eatery is like going into a special realm. Some may say that it looks like a Buddhist shrine having a huge gilded statue with red back lighting right smack in the middle of the dining are but it is not a temple, although the food offerings here are good enough to be served to gods and goddesses. The rest of the airy dining space follows a stylish black and white theme.
Buddakan offers contemporary Asian fare and the menu has generous portions that can be shared for family style dining. Make sure to try the truffled edamame ravioli, Mongolian barbecued short ribs, and Cantonese lobster. The chocolate bento box dessert is also a crowd pleaser.
Buddakan Restaurant is open for lunch on Mon-Fri (11:30-2:30pm and dinner everyday (5-11pm).
