Buko Nero in Chinatown Singapore is a lively family run trattoria that offers Italian favourites blended with Asian flavours. The family run restaurant owned by chef Italian Oscar Pasinato and his Singaporean wife Tracy has been a success since it opened its doors in 2002. The interiors are classy yet casual. The menu changes often to feature freshest available ingredients. Expect innovative and flavourful dishes like wanton beef ravioli, sausage ragu, coconut pannacotta, wagyu beef carpaccio, and their specialty taro dish the tau kwa tower.
Buko Nero is open on Tues-Fri for lunch (noon until 2 pm) and on Tues-Sat for dinner (6 - 9:30 pm). They accept bookings a month in advance but you might want to call ahead sooner because they are very in demand and almost always jam packed.
