Cypress Restaurant in the middle of Charleston’s historical district is a charming fine dining restaurant that is famous for its delightful charcuterie choices and the nouvelle American fare with French and Asian influences. The décor is simple yet elegant and the ambiance here is dynamic. The bar gets busy with diners having pre-dinner drinks and the bar also serves the full menu. They also have two private dining rooms upstairs that can be joined into one dining hall for intimate gatherings or special occasions.
Chef Craig Deihl uses lowcountry fresh ingredients in creating a wonderful seasonal menu. Specialties include wasabi crusted tuna and Angus fillet with homemade Boursin cheese. A vast choice of 80 artisan meats is on offer as well as 4,500 kinds of international fine wines.
The Cypress bar opens at 5 pm and daily dinner service starts at 5:30 pm until late.
