Essigbrätlein is a plush Restaurant in St. Sebald Nuremberg that offers imaginative nouvelle cuisine at its finest. The historic 16th structure that houses the charming restaurant used to be an inn and it still holds the very rustic interior and charm until today.
Owner Andree Kothe and Chef Yves Ollech takes pride in serving the freshest ingredients that are available in season in creating simple yet ingenious dishes that are oh so delicious earning the restaurant a prestigious 2 Star Michelin status. The restaurant name translates to roast beef loin hence it is one of their specialties. Diners may choose to order a la carte or go for set menus with wonderful wine pairings suggested by sommelier Ivan Jakir.
Essigbrätlein Restaurant serves lunch (noon – 1:30 pm) and dinner (7 – 9:30 pm) from Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Reservations and smart casual attire is required (Jacket for men).
