Flesh and Buns restaurant is located in the basement between Superdy & Urban Outfitters just off Covent Garden and not the typical tourist Covent Garden spot for a quick bite, as you actually have to know it!
The bustling izakaya style restaurant serves a wide variety of scrumptious Asian "junk food" and was opened by Ross Shonhan (former head chef at Zuma and Nobu Dallas) and owner, of acclaimed ramen shop Bone Daddies in Soho.
The menu offers a mix of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese favourites plus delicious melt in your mouth meats (flesh) like crispy duck leg, salmon teriyaki, and kimchi spiced lamb chops that you can savour with their fluffy home made Hirata buns. There’s also a good selection of raw options like salmon sashimi, beef tataki, yellowtail tartare, and oysters with jalapeno dressing. It’s a great place to order 5 or more friends to share with friends and family or meet other new foodie friends at their long communal table. They also offer various types of sake, cocktails, liqueurs, wines and other refreshing non alcoholic beverages.
Flesh and Buns is open daily for lunch from noon until 3pm and for dinner from 5pm until late.
"Flesh & Run" is the express menu for lunch and dining after 10pm; 3 dishes per person to share
Great place to go for an after work dinner with colleagues or Pre/post theatre dinner
T-Bone Steak & Rib Eye are amazing; but let you surprise with the "S'Mmore" dessert (marshmallows, biscuits, green tea chocolate)
