"Lara Djonggrang", owned by Tugu group of hotels and fine dining restaurants, draws inspiration and its name from the centuries old story of a mythical heroine princess. Her statue, along with other relics, can be seen in the main dining area and everywhere inside the restaurant so that diners can not only sample dishes that were served to emperors but also learn a bit of history and local culture.
The menu features regional delicacies of Indonesia based on imperial journeys of a 14th century ruler - King Hayam Wuruk. Seafood, skewers, sauteed vegetables, braised meat, fish cooked in coconut milk – there’s a bit of everything on the menu.
Open daily from 11AM to 1AM, "Lara Djonggrang" is an ideal place to entertain clients, impress business associates, and also to bring the whole family for a cultural gastronomic experience.
