The famous Momofuku restaurant name by owner David Chang has hailed all the way from New York to spice up the gastronomic scene in Toronto with a three storey mega-complex housing four different Asian restaurants.
The Noodle Bar famous for the lip-smacking pork bun and tasty ramen is on the ground floor; the Nikai lounge bar serving scrumptious cocktails and snacks is on the 2nd floor; Daisho that serves large format meals (ideal for groups 4-10) is up on the 3rd floor sharing the space with the fourth restaurant – Shoto an intimate 22 seat restaurant serving innovative cuisine tasting menu and wine pairings. An amazing staff of 125 people led by executive chef Sam Gelman and matire d’ Joel Centeno makes sure that everything is of high epicurean standards. With all four restaurants in one fashionable spot, there’s surely something that will satisfy your Asian food craving at Momofuku.
