No. 38 The Park Hotel in Cheltenham is a gorgeously designed Georgian Townhouse bed and breakfast owned by Sam Pearman (former player of Glouchester Rugby Team) and his wife – Georgina who also owns several other Costwolds establishments (No 131, Wheatsheaf Hotel, The Chequers, The Tavern, and The Lucky Onion). The classy hotel offers 13 stylish individually designed rooms that have deluxe Egyptian cotton linens, 100 Acres toiletries, and stunning artworks by talented British artists like Ronil Stretch, Sir Peter Blake, and David Hockney. There are lovely contemporary pieces and antiques throughout the hotel that Georgie personally hand-picked at auctions and markets throughout Europe. There is a lush courtyard garden, lounge, a charming dining room, an open kitchen, and a cozy sitting room. The bar staff and butlers are always on the ready to attend to every need so just relax and enjoy a tipple by the lounge’s open fire place. A hearty continental breakfast is served every morning and best enjoyed by the courtyard on sunny days or in the naturally lit breakfast room and its sunroof. It is the perfect home away from home especially for guests who attend weekend races since the course is just a short stroll away.
