Patois in Uptown New Orleans is a classy French bistro that transports diners to Provence. Chef Aaron Burgau aptly chose the French Quarter of town when he opened this eatery that serves French classics that have a Louisiana touch.
The restaurant has a simple and stylish interior and has two dining areas, a bar, and an outdoor seating that is ideal for brunches. The Mississippi rabbit stuffed with Italian sausage served with beans and greens or the Poussin baby chicken served with ricotta ravioli are recommended mains. The pulled pork and biscuit in hollandaise or the gulf shrimp and grits are great for brunch. Desserts like tart au chocolat and homemade sorbet and ice cream prepared by Pastry chef Lisa Gustafson are also must try treats.
