Pauly Saal Berlin

Pauly Saal - review by Nicole Allmann

Style: 1930’s Reminiscing and Casual Dining

Address: Auguststrasse 11-13 , Mitte , Berlin
Area: Berlin Mitte

Phone: +49 303 300 6070

Price: €80 - €120 per person

"Pauly Saal restaurant" is situated in the gymnasium of what used to be the "Jüdische Mädchenschule" (Jewish girls school). It takes diners back to the glory days of Berlin, way back in the 1930’s. The chandeliers, stuffed bandaged foxes and big missile model mounted on the wall add character to the light and well-ventilated dining area. Expect to see many tourists and art enthusiasts from the art gallery within the same building to be dining here.
Sample "the braised lamb", "grilled veal heart", and "suckling pig" to truly experience the traditional German-Weimar cuisine that the menu features. Have an apéro (or after dinner drinks) at the adjoining bar too. "Pauly Saal" in Berlin Mitte is open for lunch and dinner daily starting from noon ‘til late evening.
