Quai Quai on Ile de la Cité is a laid back traditional style bistro that has a relaxed ambiance and a quirky décor. The charming eatery attracts hip and young Parisians that enjoy the cool vibe and the riverside location. Lunchtime gets pretty crowded with Saint Germain lawyers and Louis Vuitton designers as regulars. Best seat for people watching in and outside of the restaurant would be by floor to ceiling glass window in front. The menu is comprised of typical French pub fare with dishes like veal blanquette in white sauce, pan fried tuna steak, and roast leg lamb in white beans. The wild boar cottage pie, mussels casserole, and crispy chocolate cake are also must try offerings.
Quai Quai is open from Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12am- 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm until 11pm.
