Redbones Blues Café and Bar in Kingston presents guests with a truly unique and upbeat dining experience. Owner Evan Williams, an architect, built the café in 1996 with art and music lovers in mind with the idea of having a supper club. Today, the stylish restaurant is the town’s hotspot for all kinds of artists with nonstop cultural events like poetry readings, exhibits, art auctions, mini concerts, and even Saturday movie night features. The food offerings here are just as artistic and truly innovative. Common Jamaican ingredients are prepared in a remarkably modern way to create delightful palatable surprises. Make sure to try their signature “bammy” dish made from cassava topped with sautéed shrimp.
Redbones Blues Café is open for lunch and dinner on weekdays from noon until 11pm and dinner only on Saturdays from 6-11pm.
