The restaurant is simple but great: One long, marble table and exquisite food; perfect for a dinner in a group of friends; chef and owner Eugenio Maiales menu is written on the blackboard; changing specials as well as handmade pasta; "tender mozzarella di buffalo", "hand-picked crab", "ragu made of finely chopped veal" and a yummy tiramisu; in the back an outdoor courtyard - wonderful on a warm summer evening; only on Friday open for lunch; alternative for a Sunday breakfast is the young and unpretentious weekend cafe "At Perry Lane" just behind Oxford street in Paddington; great for a Sunday breakfast with friends and a good coffee; everybody is heading to "Bill's" - Sydney's most famous cafes (four branches); we do it like Kylie Minogues' sister Dannii or Wayne Cooper and head to "At Perry Lane"

"Billy Kwwong's" popularity coupled with its "no bookings" policy means you will probably show up to be greeted with the sight of a full house, but if you patiently wait (perhaps popping into one of the many drinking establishments along Crown Street) you won't be disappointed when you finally do reach your table; owner and executive chef Kylie Kwong's distinct signature is splashed all over this restaurant, where traditional Asian cuisine gracefully meets Sydney chic; any of the specials are worth trying, but if you're the indecisive type just order Kylie's banquet and be treated to a stunning selection of seasonal specials; Kylie Kwong's renowned Chinese eatery feels very much like a Shanghai teahouse; under her direction a delicious array of Oriental-inspired delicacies from strictly organic produce are bound to please the palate and the eye.; BYO (wine only) $9 corkage per bottle; open only for dinner!
