Memorable lunch on wild eastcoast, this is the Cove restaurant, nestled in the lovely home of celebrated cookbook author Laurel Ann Morley, is a down to earth eatery that serves the most memorable of lunches on the West Coast of Barbados. Menu offerings feature old and new Bajan delights like calaloo soup, fried flying fish fillet, ginger and orange glazed catch of the day, Caribbean chicken curry in coconut milk, and the Cove special pepperjelly shrimps.
Frequent diners also sing praises about their rum punches. Their raisin and rum bread pudding is also highly recommended. Imagine sitting on the terrace, savoring a truly satisfying meal, a fruit rum punch in your hand, waves lashing at the rocks on the shore, and a spectacular view of the Caribbean coastline – it is like being in beach heaven! The cove is open for lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. A hearty lunch buffet is available on Sundays.
