The Scarlet review by Nicole Allmann
The Scarlet Hotel in Mawgan Porth offers a soothing and sensual adult only retreat ideal for romantic couples and lone travelers searching for tranquility amidst nature.  The cliff top view of the gardens and the sea here are simply breathtaking and can be viewed from virtually any spot because of the all glass walls of the hotel which is quite impressive for being an eco-friendly hotel that obviously did not sacrifice design and embraced what the environment has to offer.

All 37 stylish and contemporary rooms have private outdoor spaces. Common areas are cozy, inviting, and adorned with paintings done by local artists. Recreation and relaxation amenities include an indoor and outdoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, plus an excellent Ayurvedic spa. Surfing, coasteering, tree-climbing, and horseback riding are just some of the other outdoor activities that guests can take part in.

Scarlet guests enjoy complimentary breakfasts featuring locally sourced seasonal produce at the hotel restaurant which also serves mouthwatering lunches and dinners. Light snacks and refreshments may be ordered from round the clock room service. Enjoying pre dinner cocktails by the snug banquette seating at the bar with stunning sea views in the background is a must during sunset.
