Smith Restaurant on Sukhumvit Road is more than just a fancy eatery owned by renowned Chef and restaurateur Ian Kittichai, it is also a chic and artsy place that promotes the farm to table and head to tail concept. The space is a converted warehouse that has an industrial masculine feel and each and every piece has a unique design element; even the toilet faucets are distinctive and made from beer taps! The first level is a gastro pub while the upper level has a private dining room and the chef’s table. Chef Peter Pitakwong prepares clever fusion dishes that feature fresh local produce like Verjus glazed crispy pork belly, Mexican spiced calf’s tongue, and foie gras and braised pigtail torchon while mixologist Chanond Puranda serves delish cocktails, wines and especially crafted beers.
Smith restaurant is open daily from 5pm until midnight. Making reservations are advised.
