Goldeneye Resort

Goldeneye Resort is situated in the rural setting of St. Mary Parish, in the tranquil village of Oracabessa.  The resort is about twenty minutes drive from Ocho Rios.  The resort sits on 52 acres, and offers a vista of the Caribbean Sea, where guests can explore and enjoy the coves and private beaches.  There is also a lagoon on the property.  Montego Bay airport is about a two hour drive away, and Kingston airport is about 2 hours drive from Goldeneye Resort.

Originally built by the famous novelist Ian Fleming in 1949, the resort was re-opened in 2010 after a two year period during which it was expanded.  It now consists of 6 Lagoon Suites and 11 Cottages.  The resort now has two restaurants and two swimming pools.  There is an open-air Spa.  The Goldeneye has won awards as an Island Outpost hotel.  Privacy and relaxation are the main attributes that make this resort so popular.
