Ham Yard Hotel, just behind Piccadilly Circus in central London , opened its doors on June first 2014 and is the 8th property of Firmdale Hotels owners – Kit and Tim Kemp. The hip Soho hotel will have an urban village vibe having a large bronze Tony Cragg sculpture surrounded by a garden of oak trees as its centerpiece. There will be 90 uniquely designed rooms, 24 residential style apartments, and a selection of 13 high-quality retail shops, a trendy restaurant with outdoor dining, a lounge bar, opulent drawing rooms, a lavish Soholistic Spa, a modern gym, a rooftop garden, and a VIP balcony by the private event floor.
Just like other Firmdale properties, Ham Yard will have a cinema, a 176 seat theatre with a stage, and exceptional spaces for events. A 4 lane 1950s Texan bowling alley that has a dance floor, lounge, and bar which can be utilized as a night club is one of its more distinctive features.
