The Denver Tramway Building located where Arapahoe Street and 14th Street meet, was built in 1911. This Downtown location could not be ignored, so in 1997 the entire structure was remodeled and the Hotel Teatro was born. The hotel was last renovated in 2007.
The Hotel Teatro is located close to Denver city center, and therefore close to many of the city’s attractions. Governmental and commercial areas of the city are quite close by making it convenient for business guests. Guests visiting for pleasure will find that places of interest such as the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Coors Field and the Pepsi Centre are only a short stroll away from the hotel. The hotel is 30 minutes away from the airport, and within easy reach of public transport. The hotel has 110 modern rooms which have large windows and high ceilings. The beds are covered in cozy duvets; the private bathrooms are fitted with rain showers and have deep soaking tubs.
A Hotel Teatro perk is the bath butler who runs a bath for the guest and fills it with aromatic oils; offer a relaxing drink and carryout the turndown service as he leaves. The hotel offers guests a shuttle that can ferry guests within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. This presents guests with the chance to go shopping in Cherry Creek, or travel to the Pepsi Center and watch the Denver Nuggets in action. Two onsite restaurants provide casual and fine dining.
