Hotel Valsabbion Pula is not very easy to find if you’re coming by car, even when using GPS. Still, if you want a secluded romantic place it might be worth finding. The rooms and the exterior want to be hip, but that kind of décor is passé now and they shoud refurbich to appeal to foreign guests they aim at with the high room rates and pricy restaurant menu. The food is creatively thought out, and the chef is detail oriented so you taste perfection of fresh seafood.
Hotel Valsabbion is placed in historic Pula famous for the Colloseum and the regional film festival, but it’s enough to dedicate it a day trip and stay in more attractive Rovinj, Opatija or even Rijeka, especially if you are young and crazy about night life and clubbing. The rooms are difficult to leave instantly because you need to lock them from inside. The bathrooms are a bit small and with absolutely no place for keeping the toiletries. There is some attractive modern art work in the courtyard area.
