Rosis Sonnbergstuben overlooks Kitzbühel being secluded 400 metres above it, this enabling its celebrity guests to avoid the town’s tourist and skiing crowds. Ski and hiking trails are reachable as soon as you step out of the hotel. Airport transport can be scheduled, and anyway you’re only minutes away from the local cable car and the train station.
The accommodation is modern, well equipped but they managed to retain the genuine Tyrolean décor and vibe. This becomes evident in the restaurant where you can actually listen to Rosie the owner singing and playing the guitar for you. Rosis Sonnbergstuben is also famous for Rosie’s authentic regional cooking, so you can buy her signed cookbook, a perfect practical souvenir. She hosts folk music and dancing events which attract numerous German speaking celebrities, but even though you may not understand the language, this place is a must if you like to get immersed into local culture when you travel.
