Stallmästaregården in Vasatan area is the oldest inn in Stockholm and has been a famous destination since the mid 17th Century. Famous people and even royalty like Queen Kristina frequented the estate back when it was still a farm and stable that was turned into an inn and restaurant by stable master Ebbe Håkansson.
The modern Stallmästaregården Hotel having 49 gorgeous and rustic rooms opened in August of 2009 and it was modeled after and connected to the centuries old Stallmästaregården buildings. Today, it is one of the most serene and romantic refuge having great views of Brunnsviken Bay and the beautiful backdrop of Royal Haga Park.
