The Hotel Lucerne
The Hotel Lucerne may not be a regular guest’s cup of tea for its sometimes disturbing and distracting ceilings rendered as film frames, so it may feel like there are some giant people above your head all the time. The atmosphere is generally dark and sexy, and there are no classic rooms but only the extremes – simple studios and elaborate suites. Even studios feature nothing but top designer pieces of furniture.
The whole concept is created and delivered by the famous Parisian architect Jean Nouvel. His ideas make this design & boutique hotel truly unique. All rooms have relaxing park views, and for extra view climb up to the rooftop and admire Lucerne’s fairy tale like panorama over a drink. The Hotel Lucerne has contemporary and some futuristic interior design, like the entrance which is brightly lit and encapsulated in metal cylindrical skin. The bar is inviting with its comfortable oversized leather seats, and Bam Bou restaurant serves a creative Asian menu.
