The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a great Mexican restaurant on the coast – fun, friendly, relaxed, and loud. The fish tacos are stuffed with mahi-mahi, cabbage, onions, and cilantro.

Also, try the Fajitas, there’s really nothing better than skillet grilled meat and veggies, with all the trimmings on the side to make your own perfect Fajita. Opens daily at 11:30am, no reservations needed here, just swing on by!

Geoffrey'sThe best part about this particular restaurant is being able to dine on the patio, you can breathe in the clean, salty ocean air, while you enjoy masterfully prepared meals in the California sun.

The seafood here is fresh, you can just picture it all being caught out of the ocean right next to you. Executive Chef Bijan Shokatfard is a genius, his food explodes with flavor, always fresh, and excellently prepared.

If you can, try to save room for dessert, they are all twists on classics, for example, the crème brulee here come in a ginger cookie crust, which adds a very nice and flavourful spice that really sets this dessert apart from your normal. Geoffrey’s is a very popular restaurant, so you’ll want to make advanced reservations to ensure that you get a table, and if you can, eat on the patio!

Malibu Seafood

Malibu SeafoodThis is where you will find the freshest seafood on the coast, they actually catch their own fish here, which is then sold at their fish market and also prepared at the restaurant. This is a long standing establishment, founded in 1972, it has been a mainstay for great seafood ever since.

You won’t find fresher or higher quality seafood anywhere else. The famous hand battered Alaskan Cod, served with their famous tartar sauce is to die for, white, flaky fish, covered in a delicious batter. Malibu Seafood has done a great job of keeping their prices lower than other restaurants in its class level, which makes it a great pick when on vacation.

If you go in the evening, after to cools down, you will want to try a steaming bowl of Clam Chowder, you can even get it served in a sourdough bread bowl if you prefer.

No need for reservations here, it’s very casual and laid be. Cafe Hours: 11am – 8pm and Fish Market Hours: 10am to 8pm.

They’ve really done a great job paying attention to all the details, The Sunset Restaurant is the ideal place for a romantic night out, or that next special occasion. For the formal experience ask to be seated upstairs in the white room, or for more of a party, go on Friday night when they host an international DJ.

You will want to try the Fish n’ Chips, the batter is light, but gives a great flavor to the tender fish. The servers here are excellent, they will take great care of you. Reservations are really a good idea, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to walk in and get a table because of how popular it is.

Hours are Monday – Thursday with Dinner starting at 5pm , Friday 12pm is lunch/ and 5pm for dinner, Saturday and Sunday 11am, with brunch until 3pm.
