Essigbrätlein is a plush Restaurant in St. Sebald Nuremberg that offers imaginative nouvelle cuisine at its finest. The historic 16th structure that houses the charming restaurant used to be an inn and it still holds the very rustic interior and charm until today.

Esstisch is a hip and trendy new restaurant on Gartenstrasse in Gostenhof Nuremberg. The owners Melanie Schuele and Jonas Heinz started out doing catering but their food is just too good that people actually talked them into having a restaurant.

Esstisch has a chic industrial look and the ambiance is ever so lively. Diners can socialize with regular while enjoying their meals sat on long communal tables. People can even play foosball while waiting for their orders to arrive or watch the chef at work behind the counter. The menu changes by the season offering international fare with plenty of French cuisine options. Braised beef cheek with vegetables, duck breast on chickpea salad, and quinoa risotto are just a few examples of their delicious creations.

Esstich is open only on Wednesdays and Fridays for lunch from noon until 2pm and dinner from 6pm – 10pm. Making reservations are advised.
