Andina restaurant in the bustling Pearl District of Portland is an exquisite eatery that offers Peruvian and North-western Andean fare. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt opened the restaurant in 2003 to pay tribute to her family’s Andean roots by using the freshest local ingredients in creating splendid Peruvian specialties. The ambiance her is relaxed’ the decor is swanky.
Expect a large crowd of eclectic people stopping in for lunch after doing a tour of shopping areas and checking out the cultural scene in Pearl District or locals enjoying an evening meal before hitting the colourful nightclub scene in the area.

Bluehour is an elegant restaurant in the PDX Pearl District. Although there are newer and trendier eateries in the area, Bluehour has always been consistent with delivering good food and a relaxing classy ambiance since it opened its doors in 2000.

Bunk Sandwiches, like the name suggests, is a hole in the wall sandwich shop that has earned international acclaim. They already have two in demand shops in town, the original one on Morrison in Southeast PDX and the second one is Downtown on 6th Avenue.
Owners Nick Wood and Tommy Habetz are ordained as Sandwich Gurus because of their unbelievably great creations. Their most famous and most ordered menu item is the Pork Belly Cubano that has generous layered slices of slowly roasted meat and ham, pickles, and slathered with mustard and Swiss cheese. Their pork belly Vietnamese Bahn Mi, Italian Cubano, and pulled pork sandwich are also crowd favourites.
The bustling eatery is open daily from 8am until 3pm and is almost always crowded. Long lines are to be expected but most diners leave within 10-15 minutes. Clyde Common at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Portland is a must try eatery when in town. Little Bird Restaurant in Portland Chinatown is classy bistro that offers fantastic French fare. Chef owner Gabriel Rucker opened the restaurant in 2010 and also owns another renowned restaurant in PDX called Le Pigeon bistro.

OX in Northeast PDX is a great restaurant that offers hearty and tasty Argentinean comfort food. Chefs and real life partners Gabrielle Quiñónez and Gregg Denton opened the restaurant doors in early 2012 and they have already made an indelible mark in the Portland restaurant scene as a much loved neighbourhood restaurant mainly because of the amazing menu and also because of the trendy and vibrant ambiance of the eatery.
OX is a meat lovers’ heaven and is arguably the best steak joint around town, but they also offer vegan and fish.
