Korushka at the Petropavlovskaya Tower has been making waves in the restaurant scene since it opened its doors in July of 2013 because of its delicious Uzbekistan cuisine offerings and Amazing views of the city’s Rostral Columns, St. Isaacs Cathedral, and the Embankment of the palace by the Neva River.

The spacious eatery can accommodate up to 340 people so it is also a great spot for large celebrations or events. The interiors are very relaxing having many plants and lamps hanging from the ceiling. There is also a cozy library corner with an old fashioned bookcase near the bar where guests can find something good to read or leave messages for friends or family incase they missed a rendezvous.

The menu offers a wide range of seafood and European (plenty of Uzbekistan dishes) fare with. The name of the restaurant translates to the smelt fish in English so expect various smelt dishes like fried smelt in nut au gratin, spice rubbed smoked smelt, and fried smelt with savory tkemali sauce. Try the appetizer platter with various kinds of dolma and kutabs for starters which is perfect for sharing with a group. Their drink list offers many choices for fine wines and they even have a drink all you can Prosecco on Tuesdays!

Korushka is open from noon until 1 am daily. Making reservations days in advance is advised.
