Restaurant Die Vogelkoje is a cozy hideaway in a prime location that is famous for being a fabulous breakfast hotspot next to a historical fishing site.
They offer great tasting food throughout the day but breakfast specials and light lunch menu are served until 3:30 pm. They have a lovely garden and terrace plus children’s play ground so it is an ideal spot for family weekend brunches. Chef Gerhard Diedhm offers international cuisine and sommelier cum manager Sebastian Arend recently updated the décor and the menu. Fine dining has never been this exclusive. Every evening, only 30 guests can experience Fährhaus Restaurant’s excellent menu and the relaxing, romantic view of Wadden Sea. One can either choose from Speed Ferry House, Feinheimisch, or Sardinian Menu – all of which can be expanded to include cocktails, pasta, salads, and wines.
There are wine recommendations to complement each menu, just in case it’s too tiring to decide among their various selections. Then, finish off with a serving of melt-in-your-mouth Hazelnut Break or Perigord Truffles for dessert.

Web Christel is a charming traditional restaurant in Sylt. Owner Marc Ulrich procured the restaurant in 2007 but has been a culinary institution for the past three decades. Set in a picturesque 1937 building with a brick façade, the restaurant has a classical beauty and traditional Frisian jovial ambiance. Book a table by the terrace for an added romantic touch.
The cuisine features Frisian delights such as duck in cranberry sauce, Berlin style veal liver in port sauce, and oven baked turbot prepared by passionate Chef Bashir Amieri. The wine list offers more than 200 excellent choices for wine and pairing suggestions from sommelier Rocco Ladusch will surely make meals at Restaurant Web Christel even more memorable.

Nevertheless, this bungalow restaurant has been a popular dining destination among locals and weekend visitors since 1978. Thanks to Herbert Seckler for opening this celebrity hotspot and making Rantum one of the posh places to hang out in Sylt.
Outdoor dining during summer here is perfect, with the rolling sand dunes and infinite white beach as a background for a more laid-back atmosphere. Recently, the restaurant expanded to include a gourmet store, house ware shop, and clothing line boutique to accommodate tourists.

Everyone is sure to fall in love with Sölring Hof’s charming interiors. It exudes a bright atmosphere with its cream-colored ceilings, halogen lights and pale yellow walls. Tables are well-spaced with simple but solid chairs, making it a fairly comfortable place for fine dining. Meanwhile, beautifully arched French doors open its terrace, overlooking a breathtaking sand and sea landscape.
Sit down and choose from their wide variety of dishes. A must-try is their Gold Label Wagyu Rib eye beef with asparagus, morels and peas. Health-conscious ones can opt for a Half Danish Lobster or Young Marinated Spring Vegetables with Goat Cheese and Warm Egg Yolk. Strand Bistro Buhne 16
Style: Pizza lunch with the family in the dunes
Strand Bistro Buhne 16 is a beach club with a beachfront restaurant and all in one beach entertainment place on Kampen Beach.
The infamous beach was formerly known as a nude beach but the reputation has mellowed over the years. Today, you can even see families with children and strollers in tow enjoying the area and the food at the bistro that was established in 1981 by Conrad and Dieter Behrens.
The bistro is an 800 meters away from the parking lot but do not worry about the walk on the paved street will surely be pleasurable and breezy. The bistro right on the beach is a great place to enjoy sandwiches, snacks, and great pizza along with great refreshments with friends and family. At night, live DJ music, dancing, and revelry go on until late hours.
Buhne 16 is open from Easter until the end of October.
